Santiago de Compostela
This city is famous for the great pilgrimage that has been made for a long time to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, because the remains of the Apostle Santiago rest here. Although the pilgrimage must be on foot, a comfortable 50-minute walk (74km) from A Coruña through the AP-9 motorway is never too much, and enjoy attractions such as:
- Museum of the Galician people
- The Cathedral of Santiago of Compostela
- Galician Center for Contemporary Art
- Praterías facade
- Alameda Park in the old town of Santiago
Additionally, the stops before arriving in Santiago de Compostela should be mandatory to taste typical Galician gastronomy and get to know some places of interest such as Parque do Pasatempo, Gold in Piñeiron, or taste food in Órdenes.
