A Coruña to Malpica de Bergantiños

This municipality in the province of A Coruña is located at the northernmost point of the Costa da Morte, and it is the perfect route for people who want to stay in A Coruña because it is less than 50 kilometers from this city. Malpica de Bergantiños is a small town that has lived from the sea since its existence, it is considered one of the oldest ports in Galicia and important for local fishing. It can be reached by different highways from A Coruña, and you can do some hiking routes such as part of the Camino de los Faros, the route to Cabo San Adrián, take a trip to the Sisargas islands, or taste seafood in restaurants such as O cachon and San Francisco.

Laxe to Muxía

If you didn't get a chance to go to Camelle, this is the best chance when leaving Laxe. This route is 35 kilometers long, and it is necessary to go through A ponte do Porto, Porto de Cereixo, Os Muíños, and end in Muxía. Unlike the previous stops, this municipality is a little more complete for any adventurer who wants to have many tourist attractions nearby such as old churches, viewpoints, historical places such as Pedra de Abalar, a large number of beaches with movie views, or a Lighthouse that belongs to the test of the route of the Lighthouses.

If you want to taste almost all the gastronomy of the place, we recommend you arrive hungry at noon, visit restaurants such as Lonxa d'Alvaro, As Baleas Muxía, Bar Miramar or the O Xardín cafeteria.

Muxia to Finisterre

The final route arrives 30 kilometers later until the end of the ancient land, that is, Finisterre. The path of this route is a little quieter, but without neglecting some visits such as Cee, Xallas, Sardiñeiro de Abaixo, Castrexe and then to the ancestral town of Finisterre.

Here you can breathe millenary air, because this place has existed since the Romans considered this to be the westernmost point of the earth and the large groups of pilgrims who come here from Santiago de Compostela to the Lighthouse of Finisterrewhich is the end of the route of the Lighthouses that begins in A Coruña.

Malpica to Laxe

Just 30 kilometers from Malpica, is the municipality of Laxe, which is a small town that has to offer a lot of culture, stories, beaches and monuments that must be known. The main attractions of this municipality are its iconic Laxe Lighthouse, the small town of Camelle, the urban beach of Laxe, the crystal beach and the Museo do Mar de Laxe.

However, you can make some stops on the way to Laxe, such as in Ponteceso, at the Ethnoludic Museum, Dolmen de Dombate, Castro de Borneiro and the Aves viewpoint next to Neaño.
